1. Choose a style
We have a range of styles to choose from, but don't let that limit you! We will work to create the bag you want.
2. Choose your materials
Our range of materials is constantly changing. Talk to us about your style preferences and then make a selection.
3. Choose your variations
From the colour of your hardware to your bag interior to strap styles, there are infiinite possibilities to personalise your bag. We'll talk you through more options than you thought you had!
Pattern
Choose one of the patterns featured on the homepage, or propose something else you’ve seen. Often a pattern can be found or, having Magpie in the name, we can just wing it. We use a lot of Lavender and Twine patterns because they are so well written – if you can’t see something you like here, definitely check them out!
Colour and feel
What colour / tone / feel are you going for? In need of a navy evening? Wanting something elegant and understated, or a bit of in-your-face colour or bling? We have a wide selection of vinyls and are not averse to doing some more shopping for you?
Texture and materials
There are so many textures and looks to choose from! From metallic basket weave, to faux purple crocodile, to “I can’t believe it’s not leather” faux saddle-leather looks. Avoid two different materials with similar textures – ostrich and croc are not going to be best of friends, even in your handbag. We are happy to provide advice, options and guidance.
Hardware
The cost of your bag can vary due to the amount and type of hardware used. Our typical options are gold, silver, gunmetal and antique brass, but we also work with rainbow and rose gold hardware.
Straps
You have options! A plain strap, a backed strap or a basket weave strap? Long or short? Cross body or shoulder? Detachable or not?
